The Nippersink District Library Board has no business removing items from the library's collection because certain individuals don't like the viewpoints or subject matter of those materials. 

 

Board candidates Geng, DiSilvestro & Johnston claim they're fighting to keep pornography out of the library.  Utter poppycock!  

 

This bunch is aligned with current board members who recently voted to abandon the standards of the American Library Association because the ALA is "too liberal," and attempted to fire library director, Kathryn Hausman and rob her of her pension for political reasons. We need seasoned individuals like Adrianne Adams (14 years prior board experience), Theresa Sue Rekenthaler (12 years prior experience), Greg Cryns (8 years experience), and newcomers David Ramsland and Yvonne Cryns for a reasonable and responsible board.
